Abstract (English)

Bearing an overall humoristic tone, this catalogue brings together a portrait of Kuchar, a short interview with the artist, and an essay where Seid characterizes his films since 1966 and his passage to video. In his curatorial statement, Reinke refers to Kuchar's "inimitable process of self-examination" and reversal of public and private. Annotated videography (1985-1996).
