Abstract (English)

Allen situates Koh's work in the context of Fluxus, Minimalist and Conceptual Art practices, suggesting that the artist uses found materials and formal conventions of the multiple to address changing notions of "the personal" in Western culture. Baerwaldt focuses on the performative nature of Koh's critical investigation of the relationship between photographic images and issues of identity and subjectivity.
