Abstract (English)

An exhibition catalogue and artist's book in which Vasey - journalist, teacher and writer - closely examines the social, economic and environmental problems of a rural industrial area of Windsor called Brighton Beach. Evoking the site's past and present, the artist questions its future by means of photographs and personal accounts from its residents, contrasted with excerpts from newspapers and official documents.
