Abstract (English)

This unconventional catalogue contains transcripts of taped conversations between the curator and the artists, as well as a curatorial essay. In the first part of the essay, Heaton outlines his intent to provide the artists with an unfamiliar situation for making and exhibiting their work, conceptualizing the gallery as a space of desire for the public-as-interpreter as well as for the artist. The second part of the essay provides detailed descriptions of the works. 3 bibl. ref.
