Abstract (English)

A catalogue documenting an exhibition of recent paintings and drawings by Butler which are based on the structure of dreams. Essays by Fischer and Patten examine how the artist uses figuration and narrative to explore themes of mortality and survival, as well as questions concerning subjective and social aspects of being a woman artist.
