Abstract (English)

The performative aspects of the artist's practice are also considered in relation to Kandinsky's "spirituality", post-war abstraction in Toronto and the U.S., and the psychoanalytic theories of Freud and Winnicott. Includes list of works and list of collections. Biographical notes. 31 bibl. ref.
