Abstract (English)

Catalogue published in conjunction with an exhibition of Zimmerman's "Lost Hamilton Landmarks" series of photographs and "Fields of Heaven" installations. Metcalfe provides detailed descriptions of eleven works produced by the artist between 1990-97 (site-specific installations incorporating photography, audio, and sculpture). He also calls attention to how Zimmerman's use of the built environment relates to utopian characteristics of modernist architecture and industrial design. Biographical notes.
