Abstract (English)

Catalogue to accompany an exhibition focusing on the theme of representation, consisting of sculptural installations by I. Carr-Harris and “rephotographic” projects by M. Klett and H. Stevens. Youngs’ curatorial essay provides in-depth analyses of the artists’ works, while situating them within the context of postmodernism. Issues of nature, history and truth are considered in relation to questions concerning visual/narrative modes of representing reality. 33 bibl. ref.
