Abstract (English)

This cassette contains a four-minute video by Bev Pike, “Tarot for Activist Spinsters,” which features an animated series of 12 tarot cards illustrating women’s issues. A two-minute news segment follows, profiling “The Spinster Project,” an installation by Bev Pike at Gallery 1.1.1. that included the video, her book “Autobiography of an Eccentric Line” and a painting. Pike and the curator, Eyland, also speak about the work and its relation to feminism.
