Abstract (English)

This major publication traces the development of Goodwin's printmaking from 1950-1990, and focuses on technical/thematic aspects of her work. The authors consider Goodwin’s personal growth and influences, and situate her practice within the artistic context of the same period. Maheux discusses the methods and materials used by the artist, and also presents a glossary of printmaking terms. Includes a catalogue raisonné of 187 prints, a list of plates with no known prints, a list of the works in the exhibition, a chronology of exhibitions (10 p.) and a bibliography (4 p.) 31 bibl. ref.
