Abstract (English)

This catalogue contains Maddin’s fictionalised autobiographical screenplay based on his growing up in Winnipeg and features images, from a peephole installation at the Power Plant (briefly described by P. Monk), of ten short silent films based on the script. In an interview with Enright, Maddin discusses, amongst other topics, the relationship between his life and the strange events in the films, his method of working, and his use of narrative. Film credits.
