Abstract (English)Catalogue for an exhibition of some hundred photographs by Goldin, produced between 1972-2002. In her discussion of Goldin’s works (slide shows, landscapes and portraits) and aesthetic, curator Gagnon suggests that the photographs reflect the artist’s quest for self-knowledge through others. Mézil draws a parallel between Goldin’s work and that of film maker J. Cassavetes, recounts his meetings with the artist, and discusses collector Yvon Lambert’s interest in the work.
