Abstract (English)

Catalogue to accompany an exhibition of works from the Oakville Galleries' permanent collection. In her response to the pieces selected for this show, Anderson suggests that the state of portraiture is in as much flux as the subjects being portrayed. By replacing one’s identity with a “portrait,” Anderson writes, the subject gains a perspective with multiple views. List of works. 6 bibl. ref.
