Abstract (English)

Patten, the curator, notes the parallel between the images of the flooded landscapes taken by Applebaum, and the notion of identity as a constant process of change and reconstruction. The message to be taken from the images, Patten suggests, is one of survival: “we are the sum of our experience” both good and bad. List of works. Texts in English.
