Abstract (English)

This exhibition catalogue documents installations, sound works and performances by Kubota. Heath reflects on the influence that Zen Buddhism has had on the artist's work, while Snow and Dutton provide anecdotal accounts of the Kubota's use of sound. Special attention is given to the influence of Japanese art and architecture on the artist's development. List of works. Bio-bibliography 3 p.
