Abstract (English)

Transcripts of three public discussions comprise this book addressing the changing role of the curator in contemporary artistic practice. Kivland and Szymczyk talk about the relation of the shows they have curated to the spaces in which they work; Rugoff and Grayson discuss how their backgrounds have influenced their curatorial practice; Corrin and Bewley focus on the use of alternative spaces for exhibitions and the use of traditional exhibition sites in alternative ways.
