Abstract (English)

"Mchelle Bellemare's practice engages metaphors for th body and its experiences. Through her enigmatic forms, she projects and externalizes memories held by the body. In turn, the gestures expressed in her sculptural works summon a host of unconscious emotions: fear, anger, desire, hope, doubt, loss and despair." -- page 1.
