Abstract (English)

"48 Heures / 48 Chambres was an urban art project that explored the role of architecture and site in shaping responses to contemporary art. It was a weekend-long site-specific project that took place in an abandoned Montreal rooming house before it was converted to condominium lofts. 64 Montreal artists participated, realizing 58 projects that included installations, performance, interventions, sculpture and sound works" -- curator's website.
