Abstract (English)

"Like a journey into the heart of urban solitude and its periphery, Serge Clément’s work draws the viewer into an intimate relationship with the image.

As the images accumulate, they create an imaginary density of timeless fragments. For Clément, photography has always been closely related to the book, particularly along the idea that an image refers to other images." -- p. [4]of cover.
