Abstract (English)

Describing Amantea's use of ceramic kitsch objects and other popular materials, Joselit analyses the sculptures in terms of a feminist analysis of women's precarious relation to language. Augaitis examines a single work and the questions it poses regarding our relation to nature. Biographical notes. 12 bibl. ref.
