Abstract (English)

On the occasion of the New York retrospective, Campbell walks us through an allusive chronological assessment of various phases of Molinari's oeuvre. He states that the hermeneutic code which informs readings of the work is a complex one, and that the paintings are narrative, enigmatic and open to multiple interpretations by the viewer. Biographical notes. 6 bibl. ref.
