Abstract (English)

Celant traces Pistoletto's career from 1959 to 1988, emphasizing how he constructs his identity through the multiplicity of approaches and the plurality of linguistic differencies in European culture. In interview, Pistoletto stresses the discontinuity between generations, time and the mirror as important references in his work. Biographical notes. 660 bibl. ref.
