Abstract (English)

Cooper discusses Fabo and Lexier as artists concerned with how "sexual meanings are constructed in social interaction," examining Lexier's use of quotation and Fabo's theme of "aphasia." Farrell presents them as artists seeking "to reclaim the territory of the body as a site of lived experience." Biographical notes. 6 bibl. ref.
