Abstract (English)

Commenting on internal contradictions within the constructivist movement, Carlson refers to Picasso's cubist collages and Tatlin's reliefs. Chametzky and Felleman tersely develop their notion of constructive abstraction which they apply to the works of 20 American artists, architects and clothing designers.
