Abstract (English)

In this catalogue of works by three American artists, Thomas contributes one essay on the painter Hansen and his development among and influence on California artists. Schwartzman views Moore's life work as a set of discrete series, and discusses her professional development as a woman artist in the 1950s. Logan traces two decades of Scarpitta's work.
