Abstract (English)

Editors Ritchie and Wren have collected 11 documents – interviews, drawings, poetry, prose, and conceptual art projects – that pertain to the subject of talk, which the editors define as informal and spontaneous conversation. They argue that talk, though it may not have a specific goal, is nevertheless integral to life and often steps beyond the boundaries of discourse. Biographical notes on contributors. 3 bibl. ref.
