Through six separate essays by four contributors, this catalogue presents an overview of the six core exhibitions of Landscape '96, the first edition of a proposed biennial landscape festival in Saskatoon. Various subjects are touched upon: the memento mori, landscape painting, landscape photography, and Canadian identity and landscape tradition.
