Abstract (English)

O'Neill describes how Sellars' sculptures embody contemporary feminist concerns with women's sexuality and subjectivity by referring to Mary Wollstonecraft's "The Vindication of the Rights of Woman", Hélène Cixous' "The Laugh of the Medusa", as well as the Roman sybilline oracles.
