Abstract (English)

A catalogue introducing the work of the nine Italian artists forming the New Futurists - among which the three Plumcake group members -, who draw their inspiration from elements of the modern world such as computer graphics, design and advertisement. Haks and Barilli dwell on the artist's colourful imagery and on the first Futurists' heritage, while Inga-Pin, initiator of the movement, traces its birth in relation to the Milanese context and evokes the public's positive reaction to its works of "Thick superficiality". Text in Dutch, English and Italian. Biographical notes. 46 bibl. ref.
