Abstract (English)

Sawchyn examines Carreiro's figurative paintings, which feature women in a contemporary depiction of the seven deadly sins, in order to question their relevance in today's context. She focuses on the recurring figure of the raven and its many meanings (change, death, trickery and judgment). Biographical notes.
