Abstract (English)

Doxtater suggests that Niro's and Paterson's collaborative installation sheds light on the war against women and the rise of the nation-state by questionning the relationship between the logos of divine universal forces and the technological ethos of modernity. Shaw focuses on how the exhibition relates to the impact of electronic communications technologies on North American society and Native culture. Includes artist's statements. Biographical notes. 74 bibl. ref.
