Abstract (English)

This leaflet accompanied the group exhibition "Multiple Exposure", as well as Nicholas Nixon's solo exhibition "The Brown Sisters". Rhodes' text consists primarily of excerpts from an essay by Tonkonow, which considers the genre of group portrait photography in relation to class politics, social ritual, modern individualism and postmodern culture. 1 bibl. ref.
