Abstract (English)

This artist's book is a personal memoir based on Gu Xiong's process of cultural transition and search for identity after having moved from rural China to Vancouver. Contains autobiographical anecdotes written in response to twenty-nine charcoal drawings reproduced in the book. Statements by Ge Ni Xiong and Gu Yu Xiong. Texts in English and Mandarin. Brief biographical notes.
