Abstract (English)

As part of the installation "Mercator's Projection of the Mind", this publication (in three volumes) contains brief anecdotal texts juxtaposed with map-like drawings representing three views of the human brain. The artist suggests that this work was conceived as means of "exploring questions of the culturally and linguistically bounded construction of identity through perception, memory and interpretation". 3 bibl. ref.
