Abstract (English)

An exhibition booklet published in conjunction with a major touring exhibition of Thorneycroft's photographs. Includes selected sections from texts on the artist's work by Goldberg, Caws and Walsh, as well as an excerpt from an interview with Thorneycroft by R. Enright. Issues of violence, sex, death, eroticism, and transgression are considered in relation to the artist's surreal self-portraits. 1 bibl. ref.
