Abstract (English)

Bell situates Hagan's lithographs within the context of Canadian printmaking, while calling attention to the artist's influences, exploration of printing techniques and experiences as an instructor. The author also considers Hagan's practice in light of Heidegger's philosophy of art and Taylor's concept of engaged agency. Includes list of works and selective chronology. 88 bibl. ref.
