Abstract (English)

Noting various historical framing conventions, Gale describes Cohn's development of a non-verbal narrative in video portraiture. Includes excerpts from "In the end is my beginning", a manuscript combining an essay by Cohn, stories and poems by Robinson and transcripts of conversations with Joseph Verge, a nursing home resident.
