Abstract (English)

Exhibition catalogue documenting the works in sculpture and crafts by 32 Pacific Northwest Coast Native artists. In his introduction, Wyatt suggests the artists’ optimism and inclination towards experimentation reflects the numerous changes in their cultures. Other topics discussed include the presence of five female artists in the exhibition, and the use of non-traditional materials such as glass and bronze. List of participating artists. Most reproductions are accompanied by a short commentary. Brief statement on the gallery’s history and mandate.
