Abstract (English)

O’Brian suggests that Lum’s piece, which consists of four scaled down boats installed on the Vancouver Art Gallery’s roof, is primarily concerned with the socio-historical and cultural aspects of Vancouver and the gallery’s location (a former provincial courthouse).
