Abstract (English)

Co-curators Anderson and Clements provide background and description for works in various mediums by the 21 mainly contemporary artists included in this exhibition. Anderson’s introduction examines these artists’ departures from the conventions of portraiture and their individual concerns for questions of representation, identity and difference. Includes brief biographical notes.
