Abstract (English)

Pakasaar notes that Sando uses her camera as a tool for analysing social conditions and constructing personal fictions. Phipps adds to Pakasaar’s comments by situating the work as a critique of gender roles and notions of domesticity operative at least since the Victorian era. List of works. 16 bibl. ref.
