Abstract (English)

Murchie describes Wilson as an old-time circuit judge, objectively pursuing understanding and truth in his photographs of everyday reality in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, while offering a memorial to the people who live there. Wilson describes his decision to augment his landscape photographs with portraits as an attempt to imbue his compositions with an overtly emotional charge. List of works. Biographical notes.
