Abstract (English)

In the text for this exhibition of historical and contemporary political prints, Tesner argues that the medium is particularly suited to message-oriented art. After a brief sketch of the history of printmaking, with reference to the prints in the show, the author discusses the contemporary works that are featured and highlights the issues raised by them.
