Abstract (English)

An unconventional publication in the form of a box that contains art objects, documentation of visual artworks, theoretical texts, an audio cassette and a compact disc. Edited by the X-Art Foundation, this "collective artwork" (including pieces by more than 60 artists/authors) explores practices of reading, viewing and authoring by bringing together critical responses to various systems of communication. A wide range of issues are considered in relation to how artworks and texts aquire significance and value
