Abstract (English)

In this catalogue of works commissioned for a hospital, Dyan claims that James’ photographs offer patients a bridge for reconnecting with nature and their own history and surroundings. Dyan and L. Rosenberg believe having such meditative spaces in a clinical, alien environment, by appealing to the senses, can help in the healing process. James offers an imaginary walk to his captive audience.
