Abstract (English)

Garneau underscores the diversity in the art of 14 Western Canadian artists who choose to work within a Postminimalist frame of reference. Commenting on each artist’s work, Garneau claims that, in contrast to much Postmodernist art, this exhibition presents existential and metaphysical research that extends beyond appearances.
