Abstract (English)

This publication documents the public audio art installation conceived by [The User] ( T. McIntosh and E. Madan) for the abandoned grain silo at the Old Port in Montreal. [The User] comments on the intent behind the design of the installation, which, as a structure open to the participation of its audience, transforms authorship into a collective act. They also comment on their participation in the economic transformation of a former industrial site.
