Abstract (English)

Two authors grapple with the significance of Geden’s paintings in this catalogue from a touring exhibition. Krueger relates the paintings to the still life tradition, and classifies the human figures in them as objects. Redpath contemplates Gedden’s painting “Wolfe/Montcalm,” delineating the contrasts in the composition. In a brief statement, the artist comments on his working process. List of works. Biographical notes.
