Abstract (English)

In an essay responding to Thauberger’s paintings of Moose Jaw, Hall contends that the city is an important locus for the artist. Hall also suggests that Thauberger can reconcile the classicism, funkiness and intution of his influences due to the median position the city holds in his imagination. List of works. Biographical notes.
