Abstract (English)

Brydon reflects on themes of childhood, selfhood and remembrance in Eakin's photographs taken with a pinhole camera. She examines the cultural use of monuments and trophies, and suggests Eakin's images commemorate the middle-class aspirations of the 1950s. Biographical notes.
